For Our Brothers & Sisters Who Are Ill
For All Our Beloved Dead
For Those Serving in the Armed Forces

If you have:

  • Loved ones serving in the Armed Forces
  • Loved ones who are sick
  • Loved ones who have died
and would like your parish community to pray for them, please call the Parish Center at (916) 443-8084, so that their names can be listed in the bulletin.

Names of those serving in the Armed Forces will also be added to the display in the Church.

Mass Intentions
people holding hands By our baptism, each of us is called and gifted with the privilege of praying with and for one another.

Mass is a time when we can pray for someone in a special way after they have died (in a tradition from the 2nd c.), but also for those who are living, having a birthday, an anniversary, etc.

The intention does not need to be mentioned aloud during the mass, nor does it exclude any other intention we might bring to the sacrament that day. The life, death and resurrection which is remembered every time we celebrate mass together has infinite and eternal value, and our prayers bless all whom we remember each time we gather.
