Funeral Planning
Ministry members help parishioners and their families select appropriate scriptural readings, prayers and music that have special significance for them. During this challenging time, they also arrange for musicians and vocalists, work with funeral homes and cemeteries, and provide support to the family and friends of those who have died. “Grief, Gratitude & Grace”, is a The series provides an opportunity for those who have experienced the death of a loved one to join with others in a loving, healing environment to share their stories and experience. Are you being called to pray with and for your fellow parishioners? Members of the Healing Prayer Ministry make themselves available for a few minutes after Saturday or Sunday Mass to pray with and for fellow parishioners. Prayers are said with the Lord and under the seal of confidentiality. More Information:

Tithing Committee Guided by the Holy Spirit, and responding to the St. Francis Parish Mission Statement, the Tithing Committee seeks to reach beyond our parish to support local, national and international non-profit organizations whose mission and activities are compatible with the St. Francis of Assisi Parish Mission Statement.
The Tithing Committee, which has an annual budget of $6,000, meets quarterly to select, for the pastor's approval, organizations whose missions are compatible with our own. Each quarter, $1500 is awarded, $250 to each of six organizations. The Committee has been charged, in arriving at recommendations, to consider both charitable and justice/advocacy organizations - as well as local, national and international groups.
