Each year with the guidance and support of many dedicated volunteer catechists, around 150 children, from preschool through junior high, learn about their faith on Sunday mornings from late September to mid-May. Teens assist catechists with our preschoolers.

Children’s Liturgy of the Word (CLOW) Children are dismissed just after the opening prayers and go with an adult presider to the Parish Center Chapel to hear the Word proclaimed and explained in more age-appropriate language. During CLOW our children's choir sings. The children return during the Preparation of the Gifts. Parents are welcome to accompany their children to the Parish Center Chapel during the Liturgy of the Word and then return with them for the Liturgy of the Eucharist. Note: CLOW program is on summer hiatus, except for June 12, July 10 and August 14. CLOW will resume on a weekly basis on Sunday, September 11. More Information:

Kids Wanted for Children's Choir Confirmation Preparation for 7th and 8th Graders Do you have a 7th or 8th grader who needs to be confirmed? We will offer a series of 6 Monday classes, February 27 - April 1, 3:30 - 4:45 p.m., plus a mandatory retreat on Sunday, March 4, at St. Francis High School, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. the cost for the retreat is $25 and the fee for the classes (to cover material and text) is $30. To sign up your 7th or 8th grader for the Confirmation classes and retreat, please come to a meeting this Sunday, January 29, at Noon in the parish Center with Georgei Saydak, Director of Youth Faith Formation. We invite your children (K-6th grades) to participate in our CLOW program at 9:30 a.m. Mass.
This program is offered year-round except during summer.
No registration is required, and it's free.
Our childcare program for children of walking age to five years of age (by 9/1/2011) continues during the summer in the Parish Center from June 5 through September 18 (except June 19, July 3, and September 4). When we are baptized as Catholic Christians, we are called to share our faith. You are invited to live out that call in a formal way by teaching children about God's love for us. Some different ways to serve include:
Like to help care for really young ones? We especially need assistance in our Nursery Program during the 9:30 a.m. Mass. Nursery involves child care and NOT teaching; while we have teen helpers, we need a couple of adults who can work in Nursery about once or twice a month. you share the responsibilities and have a chance to make new friends. This is a ministry or caring, not just for the children, but also for their parents, who can be free to participate Mass while their little ones are cared for.
